Barbara Januszkiewicz combines boldness and directness with sensitivity to achieve the purity and freshness of watercolor in as few strokes of the brush as possible.

Barbara's love for art has been expressed in many volunteer efforts with organizations and events, including The Arlington Housing Corporation in a silent art auction, Clarendon Alliance for the Arts, also in Arlington, and with an exhibit show and watercolor demonstration in Neiman-Marcus at the Tysons Galleria in McLean, Virginia.

She majored in studio arts and art education at Jacksonville University in Florida and has taken classes and workshops from The Art League School in Alexandria, Virginia, Arlington Art Center in Arlington,Flags
Virginia, and A Place to Paint in Reston, Virginia.

Barbara has exhibited her watercolors in juried shows, such as the Strathmore Hall Arts Center in Bethesda, Maryland, with the Vienna (Virginia) Art Society, and The Art League. She maintains her studio in Arlington County, Virginia.
